Description

MDS Systems offers BUS cabling solutions for audio and video installations in buildings and residential developments. Different configurations are available depending on the type of installation:

MDS Digital System

• AUDIO only: Board Bus, Central interconnection Bus (FXL network) and Decoder Bus (4 wires + shielded twisted pair).
• AUDIO + VIDEO: Board Bus (7 wires + shielded twisted pair + coaxial), Central interconnection bus (4 wires + coaxial), Decoder Bus and Video Distributor (6 wires + coaxial).

MDS Direct System

• AUDIO Only: Board Bus, General Entrance Bus to Interior Blocks, Decoder Bus (4 wires + shielded twisted pair).
• AUDIO + VIDEO: Plate Bus (7 wires + coaxial), General Entrance Bus to Interior Blocks (4 wires + coaxial), Decoder Bus and Video Distributor (6 wires + coaxial).

MDS City System

• AUDIO only: Board Bus, General Entrance Bus, Bus between Interior Blocks and Decoder Bus (4 wires + shielded twisted pair).
• AUDIO + VIDEO: Panel Bus (7 wires + coaxial), General Entrance Bus to Interior Blocks (4 wires + coaxial), Bus between Interior Blocks (4 wires + coaxial), Decoder Bus and Video Distributor (6 wires + coaxial).

Other Systems

• ADS Systems: AUDIO only (3 wires), AUDIO + VIDEO (3 wires + coaxial).
• 4+N Systems: AUDIO only (4 common wires + n call wires), AUDIO + VIDEO (7 common wires + n call wires + coaxial).

MDS Systems use a vertical BUS-type wiring installation, connecting the outdoor panel to the homes and allowing interconnection between blocks in urbanizations.

• Ref. 5918 AUDIO + DATA BUS: 4-wire 1 mm² cable + shielded twisted pair (2 x 0.5 mm²). 100-meter reels.
• Ref. 5919 VIDEO BUS: 3-wire 1 mm² cable + coaxial cable. Connection between the panel's video camera and video distributors. 100-meter reels.
• Ref. 59200 MONITOR CONNECTION BUS: 3-wire 1 mm² cable + 8-wire 0.5 mm² cable + coaxial cable. Connection between decoder, distributor, and home monitor. 100-meter coils.
• Ref. 5922 TELEPHONE CONNECTION BUS: 6-wire, 0.5 mm² hose. Connection between the decoder and the home telephone. 50-meter coils.
